1. Do a fresh install of FIFA from your DVD, this ensures no surprises later on. Do not apply any cracks to this installation.

2. You need to download & install the EA FIFA 08 Patch to bring your game up to date.

3. Open the FIFA 08 game folder and rename the file fifa08.exe to fifa08.original.exe.

4. Then download the No-DVD and drag it's fifa08.exe to the game folder. You will no longer require the DVD to run the game.

- How do I configure Hamachi?

1. Download and install Hamachi from the link below. Windows 2000/XP/Vista as well as Linux and Mac OS X are supported.

2. After configuring your user name and other settings hit the Power button to go online. Then click the Configure or Join Networks button and enter one of the following.

Network Name: TRINI-FIFA08
Network Pass: TRINIDAD

Network Name: TRINI2-FIFA08
Network Pass: TRINIDAD



- What firewall settings do I need to adjust?

Hamachi connects to a central server on ports 12975 and 32976 over your Internet connection using TCP. These are destination ports on our server. Since Microsoft uses random outgoing ports to connect to specified target ports, you need to configure your firewall accordingly.

The first port is used for an initial contact, and the second is used for an actual session. You can set a static UDP listening port by configuring it in Preferences > Detailed Configuration, but note that this will require you to forward that port's UDP traffic from your router to the machine, if you are behind a router. Also note that if you have multiple machines to do this on, you will need to choose different ports for each to avoid conflicts.

It also uses dynamic local and remote UDP ports for communicating with other Hamachi peers.

If the methods above fail in connecting the the Mediation Server (bibi.hamachi.cc), Hamachi will try to use standard SSL connectivity (TCP port 443) to connect to it. This will not, however, affect the UDP parts.

Hamachi also support http proxy servers, which can be configured in Hamachi Preferences > Detailed Configuration.



- How do I port forward my router?

1. Select any specific UDP port eg. 4000

2. Open Hamachi Preferences > Detailed Configuration > Set the UDP port to 4000

This will force Hamachi to use that port for data.


3. Select your router below. Instead of the ports suggested use UDP 4000

- How do I join games?

You have two options. Direct IP or Network. Please discuss this with your opponent in the IRC Chat prior to loading FIFA.

Direct IP: This is simple. Anyone can host or connect. If player one is hosting, player two must press new and enter Hamachi IP of the host. Then when you see it in the list, just highlight them and press connect.

Network: Even more simple but sometimes doesnt work. Player one initiates. Then when player two sees the game initiated by player one showing up in the list he just has to highlight it and press join.



- How do I use the IRC Web Chat?

1. You should be able to simply click the Chat tab and the applet will load taking you directly to the chat room. If it doesn't work then you need to install Java.
